1971 nahm ich ein Rock-Stück auf Band auf, das mit einem Honkytonk-Klavier beginnt
und – ungefähr – folgenden Text hat:

with a shotgun at my back,
fearing to find an answer,
with a boat full of my doubt.

trying all the reasons,
but I finish in a fight.

but how is‘ a right opinion
to change while life is true.

with a balance in my hand,
knowing a way to swing it,
to stop, to step, to stand.
Sailing cross the ocean,
Knowing where I’ve been,
now I got the answer
to a blue ball that I see.
Sailing cross the ocean
with a shotgun in my hand.
Now I’m gonna do it,
begin with my old land.
